At the Manufacturing Expo—the international machinery and technology exhibition for manufacturing and supporting industries—an exhibition space must deliver a tangible statement of corporate reliability and technological advancement.

For this project, KG Solar, a leading provider of solar energy solutions and photovoltaic technology, entrusted Smile Exhibit with their turnkey production and installation.

Smile Exhibit translated the client’s architectural blueprints into a structurally sound, 72-square-meter operational reality, ensuring total adherence to specification and on-time delivery.

Production Specifications and Structural Control

• Structural Carpentry and Finishing Execution: Smile Exhibit’s production team analyzed the client-supplied designs to generate detailed workshop drawings for precise fabrication. The primary framework was constructed using 15 mm High Moisture Resistance (HMR) timber, selected for its high load-bearing capacity and dimensional stability under exhibition environments. The interlocking partitions were assembled to form a heavy-duty central storeroom featuring an extended height profile of 4.00 meters. Wall surfaces underwent rigorous preparation, finished with industrial-grade emulsion coatings, seamlessly integrated with metallic stainless interior architectural films and high-resolution inkjet graphics to achieve a flat, uniform, and seamless surface alignment.
  
  
• Signage and Illumination Engineering: To maximize brand recall and long-distance visibility within the exhibition hall, the pavilion was engineered with two sets of custom-fabricated zinc box channel letters featuring front-lit acrylic faces. All high-voltage wiring, drivers, and control systems were safely concealed within the interior partition cavities. This setup was integrated alongside strategic LED spot illumination to provide uniform light distribution across the product displays and eliminate ambient shadows.
  
  

On-Site Installation Safety and Compliance: Managing a 72-square-meter footprint with a 4.00-meter vertical clearance required strict field oversight. Smile Exhibit’s site installation team deployed rigid structural anchoring, cross-bracing systems within the hollow walls, and a heavy-duty inward-swinging door system for the storage area. The entire pavilion structure sat on a level foundation finished with industrial needle-punched carpet, guaranteeing structural integrity, absolute rigidity, and full safety compliance during high-traffic show hours.
